The past four years of business have been wonderful! I’ve learned so much about myself, photography, customer service and business. It’s been such an amazing journey, for which I am so incredibly grateful! I have so much room to grow in all of these areas and I’m ready to plunge ahead and learn with each day that comes my way. As a culmination of what I’ve experienced and learned about photography and about myself, I’ve decided to make some changes to the structure of my business and take it to the next level.
One of those changes is that I’ve decided that I am no longer going to be a wedding photographer. I want to focus my creative energy on being a boutique portrait studio serving families. I want to create custom, full-of-love portrait sessions and portrait art for families to treasure and pass on to future generations. There are many reasons for this decision and it wasn’t easy to make, but I know it is the right decision for me! Although I have thoroughly loved every wedding I’ve shot and every bride and groom I’ve gotten to know, I had to be honest with myself that my heart is really in portrait photography. I’ve actually been thinking about this for over a year and it took me that long to be able to let go of weddings completely! But I’ve decided it is time. I’m excited for what this year is going to bring, it’s a new season!
Thank you so much to all of the brides and grooms who’ve entrusted their wedding days to my documentation. Thank you for trusting me and believing in me. I was honored to be a part of every wedding I shot! Call me when you start having babies 😉
